Nature Valley Grand Prix is coming to town!  I tried my best to qualify to race in this year’s NVGP, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand granades…and close I was.  So now it’s on to what I do best - Partyin’ on and Guerilla Marketing!!!  That’s right…. Fly your freak flag high.

Yep, I gotta lot of these flags with Freak the Lion on ‘em.  If you wave ‘em and get yourself a sweet picture in a print media (magazine, paper…), I’ll set you up!  So get it on, get it up, get yerself out to Uptown Friday night and get your Freak On!!!

This past weekend, I did my favorite winter activity - Ice Racing!  An amazing day of 35+ degree weather after a full month of below-zero temps and an amazing crowd made this year’s race extra special.  It was the City of Lake Loppet that stepped up & put on an awesome race.  The Hwood Army represented well with Kristy Kreme taking 2nd in the women’s race, honorary Army member Tyson Meyer destroying the B Class for an uncontested victory, and I set out to do what I do every year and crush the expert race with my teammate the Chucker 1-9.  Everything was aligned for me to pull of a killer victory, but with a half a lap to go…UNBELIEVABLE!  A rear flat foiled my victory as I tried to get to the line before the chase group closed the gap, but to no avail.  Luckily, the Chucker had enough energy to push on for the victory.  First and third ain’t too bad.

 The crowd was UNBELIEVABLE!! Over 100 strong.

In case you can’t read, Supersuckers - August 14th @ the Cabooze.  And, if ya want, catch ‘em before the Twins game at the Dome on the 13th!  I never went anywhere, just been racin’, wurkin’, and rockin’.  Kristy Kreme  not only won her 1st race of the year, but won 2 races up in St. Cloud.   Atta girl!  And myself, well I decided to race Pro/1/2  again, and it’s been awesome.  Time to dust off the dirt bike and get ready for more good times. A long week of Bike’n activities as the Nature Valley Grand Prix came ta town.

Kristy and I started the week of by doin’ what we do, race bikes. State TT was on Saturday and Le Kreme blazed a 1:06 fer her 2nd place ride in the 40k. Later that nite we got the crowd at the Track ta come on over to the Wrong Side of the TRACK foe a nice sunset, bevies and burgers. We killed it that nite, good times.

Monday we took the Promans womens racing squad, sponsered by BMC, out fer a ride. These ladies rode strong all week, even up the Mur de Savage. “Jog Bras”

Friday Morn’n met Timmer and Ronnie fer a tasty treat then headed ta Lillydale for the Time Trial along the River than up a son of bitch of a climb up Ohio st.

Then came Friday night. I started out with help’n some of the Promans ladies and shoot’n the breeze with Frankie Andreu, he dug my rugs so I hooked him up a shirt. Later the Gorilla marking kicked in win the rugs became awsomly placed, atop Brits pub.

Saturday Kristy and I raced the amature crits in Mankato. Had a good time but with so much goin on it I fergot ta dokument the action. So Sunday came and off ta Stillwater ta see the last stage and a good time was had. Got ta hang with old friends and New, Thanx to my Gal fer hang’n and gett’n this crazy good times, and thanx to the ARMY fer Rock’n
